Project Overview
Soy & Spice is a modern dining restaurant in Multan known for its continental cuisine, Asian fusion dishes, and stylish café-style environment. Located in the well-developed area of Model Town Multan, it has become a popular choice for families, students, and food lovers who enjoy a mix of traditional and modern flavours in a comfortable setting.
At Sardar Khan Design Studio, we believe that a restaurant’s interior is just as critical as its menu. A well-designed space does more than look good; it creates an atmosphere that brings customers in and keeps them coming back. As the Lead Architect, my goal is to ensure every square foot contributes to a memorable dining journey.

The Intersection of Function and Aesthetics
Our portfolio includes some of the most vibrant dining spots in the region, including Soy & Spice, Dip n Bite (Model Town, Multan), and the Devour locations in both Multan and Lahore. Each project represents a unique challenge in balancing brand identity with guest comfort.
The visual featured here serves as a key shot from our latest project, capturing the sophisticated play of light across warm textures and architectural details. The sequence implies a rhythmic motion, leading the eye from the intimate, curved booth seating to the overhead wooden accents. This dynamic walkthrough experience allows you to feel the ambiance before the first dish is even served.
Intimate Booth Seating
The restaurant features curved booth seating that creates intimate dining zones within the larger space. The booths are designed to provide privacy and comfort while maintaining the energetic atmosphere of the restaurant. The rich upholstery and ergonomic design ensure guest comfort during extended dining experiences.

Material Palette: Warmth & Durability
The material selection for Soy & Spice balances warmth with commercial-grade durability:
- Travertine Stone — Natural texture and warmth for flooring and feature walls
- Premium Leather — Upholstered seating that ages beautifully with use
- Wooden Accents — Overhead elements that add organic warmth to the ceiling plane
- Brushed Metal — Lighting fixtures and hardware for industrial refinement
- Performance Fabrics — Stain-resistant textiles for high-traffic areas
Dynamic Lighting Design
The lighting design creates a sophisticated play of light across warm textures and architectural details. The sequence implies a rhythmic motion, leading the eye from the intimate, curved booth seating to the overhead wooden accents. Layered illumination — ambient, task, and accent — defines zones and creates visual warmth throughout the space.

Ambience & Atmosphere
The overall ambience of Soy & Spice is designed to be modern, stylish, and comfortable. The restaurant offers a fine casual dining experience suitable for both small gatherings and family visits. The soft lighting and stylish décor create a calm and family-friendly atmosphere, making it suitable for casual and fine dining alike.
